The hotel is self catering only and not have a restaurant or bar

facility but is fortunate to have a great range

of food options very close by which we are proud to support.

If staying with us in peak season we strongly recommend

making reservations in advance.

Do it Yourself!

With our brand new kitchen and dining space, guests are welcome to buy their ingredients and cook for themselves.  A small Co-Op is a five minute walk or several large supermarkets are within a short drive.  There is also a wide range of takeaways for every taste.

Homely Local Pubs

The hotel has at least five pubs within walking distance, each with their own specialities; a great pie; a quiz night; a pool table; live music. 

 The Ship is just a quick stroll away.

Excellent Seafood Cookery

Being so close to the coast there are some great fish restaurants both locally and a short drive away.  Our personal favourite is

 Mark G on Lowestoft High Street but you really must book in advance it is that good.

Further Afield

Nearby Kessingland is worth a visit, in particular The Waterfront, or a drive to nearby Southwold is just 20 minutes.  There are some lovely eating spots in this famously photographed town. We recommend The Red Lion, an Adnams Pub for a great pint and pub grub or The Swan is a for a real treat.
